Temporary Solution to Problems That May Occur Due to Endpoint Central Server Language Being Turkish

During the installation of the Endpoint Central server, it is stated that the server language should be English and the region should be selected as US.

In some customer environments, when the server language is configured as Turkish with a configuration outside of these requirements, some problems may be seen in Endpoint Central. For example, we encountered a case where the product's web interface did not open even though the service had started after the update and everything seemed healthy. As a solution, the product language was changed manually with the steps below. Since it is a temporary solution, this solution will become the default again after the next update.

For a permanent solution, the server language and region must be updated.
The problem can be solved by following the steps below as Workaround. (It will need to be done again after each update.)

Workaround:

I recommend taking a snapshot of the EPC server before the steps.

1. Upgrade the central server to the latest version

2. Stop the EndpointCentral Server Service.

2. Navigate to <Endpoint_Central_Server_Installed_Location>/conf/wrapper.conf and open the file with Administrator privileges

3. Add the following entries at the end of the file:

wrapper.java.additional.5000=-Duser.language=en

wrapper.java.additional.5001=-Duser.region=US

4. Start the EndpointCentral Server Service

However, the custom workaround will be reverted upon the next upgrade. If possible, Maintain the locale server in English so you can upgrade the server whenever you want to upgrade the server until this fix is released.
