Pre-Installation Preparations
(Expectations from the Customer)

  

A)   The document   Purpose:

It was created to convey the expected requirements from the customer during the implementation of the software.

B)   Aim:

During the implementation of the application, it was aimed to minimize the loss of time with the customer and to allocate more time to joint work that needs to be done.

C) Scope:

All requirements included in the software are included.

1- System Requirements

The system requirements for the product to be installed are as follows;

2- Server Settings

 


A)      
There must be a user with at least local administrator rights who will make the settings and software installation on the server.


B)     
The Region and Language options of the server set for the software must be as follows.






Format: English (United States)

Location: United States  

Administrator: English (United States)

 

A)       The Anti-Virus program on the server must be deactivated or the C:\ ManageEngine* directory, which is the folder where the software will be installed, must be excluded from scanning.

 

 

B)      Windows Firewall must be closed on the machines and server where the Agent will be installed .

 

 

3- Special for Software Settings

 


A)      
In order for the application to send warnings and notifications via e-mail, the server must be given mail relay rights.  


B)     
A list containing the IP information of the network devices to be added to the software is needed.  


C)      
SNMP information on network devices is needed to be added to the software and retrieve relevant information.


D)     
For Windows servers to be added to the software, domain user information with local admin rights is required on the servers. If local admin rights cannot be granted,
